چکیده
Pharmaceutical tablets ingested orally remain the most popular dosage form in drug delivery, while frequently used route for administration of therapeutic agents remains oral route. Recently, excipient development comprising a mixture two or more materials assembled single frame by means particle engineering, known as co-processed excipients, has gained enormous popularity. To prepare ibuprofen co-processing and wet granulation method evaluate its diluent property. From design experiment (DOE), optimized composition was obtained granules were prepared newly developed (lactose, mucin corn starch BP) starlac®, cellactose® lactose standards. The evaluated their micromeritic properties compressed into tablets. Evaluation physical dissolution studies done using British Pharmacopoeia methods. results showed that flowable compressible. had good properties: minimal weight variation (495±9.46 – 501mg ±23.15), hardness (5.50 ±0.55 6.50±1.05 KgF), disintegration “time” < 15 min±0.37 “friability” 1.0 % ±0.00 - >1.0±0.07. complied with criteria. data from different evaluation parameters containing compared well starlac, cellactose comparing standard. which performed better than starlac terms friability can serve

Co-Processed Chitin-Mannitol as a New Excipient for Oro-Dispersible Tablets
This study describes the preparation, characterization and performance of a novel excipient for use in oro-dispersible tablets (ODT). The excipient (Cop-CM) consists of chitin and mannitol. The excipient with optimal physicochemical properties was obtained at a chitin: mannitol ratio of 2:8 (w/w) and produced by roll compaction (RC). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform-In...
متن کاملDevelopment of Directly Compressible Co-processed Excipient for Dispersible Tablets Using 3 Full Factorial Design
The purpose of the present research was to prepare and evaluate mannitol and cellulose based, directly compressible excipient using freeze-thawing technique. The mannitol to cellulose ratio (50:50, 60:40, and 70:30) and the rotation speed of propeller stirrer (200, 600, and 1000 rpm) were selected as independent variables in a 3 full factorial design. Water acted as a good medium for mannitol a...

Exploration of Novel Co-processed Multifunctional Diluent for the Development of Tablet Dosage Form
The aim of this investigation was to develop a novel multifunctional co-processed diluent consisting of microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 102), crospovidone (Polyplasdone XL) and polyethylene glycol 4000. Colloidal silicon dioxide and talc were also incorporated as minor components in the diluent to improve tableting properties. Melt granulation was adopted for preparation of co-processed d...
